I had zero interest in heading across the border from here until I received this email, “I’d like to go to Mexico to get migraine meds. Would you have any interest in driving to Tijuana with me on Saturday?” Sounds like an adventure, I thought, and it was.
Instead of driving, Sue and I took the trolley to the border. 
It was an easy walk through customs into Mexico. 
The backup for cars leaving Mexico was long. Pop-up shops aside the traffic. 
A few entrepreneurs went car-to-car. 
There were dozens of places to fill prescriptions.
